So I don't get that. T-minus 5 minutes, with a 10 minute hold. Why not just say "T-minus 15 minutes."?

Not quite. 13 months to get to Jupiter.

Quick math says that it'd have to travel around 340,000 miles per hour to get to Pluto in a year. I don't think we'll be getting anywhere near that speed anytime soon.

Funny...a decade to get to Pluto.

I wouldn't be surprised if five to seven years from now NASA comes up with a new engine that cuts the ETA in half. Imagine if they launch another probe that gets there before the first.
