Yay! I just got an shipping confirmation email from apple about my imac. There is no shipping details yet but I'm hoping I get it on Friday since thats my day off.

Yea.. they typically ship from China, so unless you order Next day, it takes about 5-7 to get to you.

sweet system I'm jealous, I'm one of those PC users who actually wishes he had a Mac. Well in addition to my PC (yeah I like both...) As far as the week going fast, I think it'll go by at exactly the same speed every other week does.

You could always try freezing yourself like Cartman did in South Park when he couldn't bare to wait for the Wii to come out.

haha its awesome. i just been trying to get everything imported and up and running. i am having some issues with the time capsule and time machine. this is also my first mac so I am still learning OSX

I got it from office max. its junk and it was not cheap. the company that manufactured it (o'sullivan) is no longer in business so the desk isnt around any more.

I think the desk looks great! Your set up has more style than 99.999% of the people on this forum. Nice and clean. Tasteful too.

I'll have to take a pic of mine when I get my set up finished.

I'm familiar w/ their quality.. damn. looks good from here at least. the equivalent from ikea is far too expensive for me.

dont get me wrong it looks great but its comprised of particle board and its not the strongest material in the world. the keyboard tray doesnt line up properly with the holes underneath so I wasnt able to use it.

i originally had a 32" westinghouse on there but it snapped in half despite the monitor only weighing something like 25lbs. i had posted a thread about it last year or so.

anyways, i like the simple iMac setup and there isnt wires all over the place both on and under the desk.
