Meh, if they're going to do that, might as well make you re-roll a new character every time you die. Death penalties in games are stupid. Either go all the way or none at all.
Darkfall Online clone...hopefully they learn from it's mistakes

Ok, my uTorrent method worked. Currently there are three patches to download. Start the MO launcher, wait for it to begin then exit. The torrent file will now be in the folder I listed previously, and place when done in the folder I also listed. Run the launcher and wait for it to find the file. Rinse and repeat three times.
I had to also had to restart the game to be able to save my character.
There is no tutorial, only the H button (and youtube). There is also no in game map (crafted maps to be introduced later).
ALSO BE WARNED that there is full nudity when creating a character and I assume when you disrobe your character in game. Not for kiddies.
Graphically it is good for a MMO, but not quite as good as Oblivion.
Keep in mind - high res textures have not yet been added in. Also, speedtree 5 is being added in the near future. Aesthetically, the game will look much, much better soon. Unreal3 engine is good.
alright I found some bunnies of all things to fight in the woods but the camera got locked and one of them killed me, how do you resurect?
And ironically, the thing you seem to want - progression - isn't hindered in those types of games. So which do you want? Progression or not?If you had to reroll every time you died then you would never progress.
The lack of death penalties in other MMO's is what I hate most... people run out and die all day and it doesn't matter.
I too find it odd that my mighty axe yielding warrior was taken down by a bunny....its like monte python

We want progression with consequences, so that the progression you make means a lot.
Skill points go up whenever you are using a particular skill. There are TONS of skills.
