Trailers are SUPPOSED to be great ... to get you AMPED to get you to go to the theater and hand over way too much of your hard-earned money.

I'll go against the group by stating (honestly) that (other than a few minutes of actions scenes) I have not seen the first nor second nor do I plan to see the third. One of my requirements for actually seeing a movie is a good story with quality acting.

I hate to admit it, but I didn't care for this trailer as much. Well, I think it was actually the first half that I thought wasn't as good. The part with the president felt out of place... mostly because most people probably have no idea who The Mandarin is and still don't realize that he's the bad guy that's been in all of the trailers. Although, maybe that's why right after that spiel, they have The Mandarin saying, "You don't know who I am."

One thing that looked odd to me.. at 46 seconds in to the trailer, it looks like The Mandarin has Captain America's shield tattooed on the back of his neck.

The first one was REALLY good, The second one was average, The avengers was REALLY good. This has the feel of being really good. I never got that with the trailers of part 2.

Now I know why you picked that name. Honestly Robert Downey Jr is a fantastic actor. He plays this part perfect, the fact that you will pass a judgement on something without seeing it first makes you an incredible tool.

Last time i hit the theater was for Tron. This may be worth it, but i wont be doing it opening weekend. Nor will i buy food there. Tough business against Disney, wonder how often this happens.
