400+ hp out of a 5L gasoline engine is nothing special. We aren't in the 1980's anymore.

5 L is not small at all at this point. That's pretty massive for current cars.

5k RPMs not liters. Was talking about maybe how their powerbands are lame.

My wife has an 80 mile round trip commute and loves her 2011 WRX. She's got snow tires on it right now, perfect for our Winter storm tomorrow that's supposed to dump 8".

All car prices are going up. You think $26-30k is expensive for a WRX? I was just reading about the new Mini Coupe. The reviewed car was $32k, for front-wheel drive and mid 6 second 0-60.

Which grade gasoline it uses all depends on what the engine was tuned for. also, the Hyundai is probably a more advanced engine with direct injection, which can help turbos and higher compression. Your Subaru engine is a pretty old design and new ones are just coming out.

I absolutely cannot wait for winter weather. Snow tires + WRX = bad roads? what bad roads? I love seeing people with their all seasons crashing all over. Whipping around empty snowy parking lots is such a joy.

Also I should have stated more expensive than I'm used to. Perhaps we WRX owners are just spoiled. A few $k increase in 2 years just seemed a little steep compared to other years.

If your worried about maintence get a third party warranty and include it in your cars price.

I got a aftermarket warranty on treg when I got it and passing that warranty on to the next buyer helped me sell it.

Get a used one JUST out of warranty and haggle it down 3-5k. Take 3-5k and buy 3 yr 50k warranty.

Ooo how is the G35? I've never been in one. That sounds awesome. The traction light is a reminder to press the traction control button to turn it off haha
