Why is it that you can drive over a bridge from NYC and get gas 15 cents cheaper in NJ when full serve?

Me too. Not long ago I was at the gas station and some woman asked me how it worked? I looked at her like WTF what planet are you from? Then she explained she was from NJ and they weren't allowed to pump their own gas. I think I looked at her again like WTF?

I love it when politicians make an idea sound so far-fetched that it's in fact completely infeasible, all the while ignoring that that very action takes place EVERYWHERE ELSE.

lol. The more ridiculous part is when he said it might lower gas prices.
It is even further ridiculous that you think it might not.
Do you think the service attendents work for free? Where do you think their pay comes from? A surcharge added to every gallon of gas sold.

I live in California and could concur with the safety thing. Many times as I pull into a gas station, I see a bunch of idiots either still on their cell phone or SMOKING WHILE PUMPING GAS. Now if each gas pump had it's own supply and was sealed off from everyone else, I could care less that they blow their asses up. But man, pumping gas next to them pisses and freaks me out. Other than that I think NJ's gas thing is full of doo doo.

Time and time again, we have voted against self-service stations in Oregon also.

Since when did these attendants have a union together? Must be that they are demanding higher wages to pump gas which is why gas prices are so damn high.
So now the gas company will make 30.1 billion in profit other than the speculated 30.0 billion. OooOOhh the humanity.

Obligatory joke::
A woman is driving through Lincoln, Nebraska and decides to stop for gas. Finally after finding a gas station in middle of hay-stacks, she enters the gas station and waits for magic to happen.
The gas station is observeing her all the time. Finally he comes out and says, "Lady, either you must be a widow from Florida or lived your whole life in New Jercy"
Bam.

If they can't figure out how to pump gasoline, then I wonder how they'd manage having children, either. Seems like a pretty similar procedure overall.

this is a fvuking shame. Im from Jersey and I'd rather pump my own gas! I should be allowed to dammit. I hate waiting in line for lazy motorists and lazy gas station workers

Wtf? It seems like a hassle to have someone pump your gas. Does he also slide your credit card in the machine?

New Jersey does an important service, it makes those who live in that Sh!hole PA feel better about themselves.
