new keyboard and mouse help

plz suggest which has best build quality maybe best bang for the buck

For gaming or? I bought:
Keyboard: Microsoft sidewinder x4 50.00
Mouse: Logitech G400 47.00
This was for pc gaming. Of course you can get mouse and keyboard a lot cheaper (Like half the cost) if not into gaming.
