i watched the "full nudity" version of Angel Heart - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092563/reference/
.. which contains pretty much exactly the same amount of nudity as the original cut. Apparently Mickey Rourke's butt was pounding too hard in the special cut so they had to trim it. Yeah literally that, the motion of the ocean, not the actual nudity.
6.5/10 - still worth a watch if you've never seen it and you don't get it spoiled.

Yet another - but well made - supernatural Private Investigator film, yet another "i'm working for Mister T. Devil" film, this time Rourke is private detective Angel (ofc), and he's hired by (hold applause) Lou Cypher, to track down a certain Johnny Favourite, who super-obviously sold his soul to the devil, but disappeared and Lucy wants to know if it's time to claim his soul.
Angel works his way down to Louisiana, leaving behind a trail of dead "coincidences", until he finally meets the ridiculously-hot Lisa Bonet, whom he bonks.
It's billed as a neo-noir, it doesn't have the pacing or atmosphere of the noir, but it certainly does use the lighting style. It's got interesting photography, but not spectacular. Rourke is decent as Angel, a PI who is tough with the weak, and weak with the tough. Robert deNiro plays the devil, ofc, and he's good for what little parts he has. The story is interesting, but could use a bit of trimming in the pacing, and i found i had missed some important narrative by the time of the big reveal.
Two major mistakes, making THE DEVIL so fucking obvious, and instead the opposite for the big reveal, no hints pointing to it that could have increased the satisfaction of the ending. Also, Rourke absolutely butchers his most important scene, and somehow it made the cut.
