Anyone else see that the 160GB drive's rebate says on the first page its for $70 but on the mailing address it says its for $100, I'm sure they will give you only $70 but there is a slim chance of you getting $100.

Also the HDD comes with a Promise Ultra100 TX2 controller card.

On my rebate form next to that, it states: WD160GBSE/$100 MIR

PM it to MC and add in the $100 MIR and you get the drive for $249

Just pickup my stuff, I was so surprised on all the stock they had. I am so used to compusa and officemax being out of stock on a sale item by mid afternoon the day of the sale.

I pickup a 17 inch lcd daewoo too, but haven't opened the box yet.

Apparently, the Daewoo monitors are just rebadged Datus monitors.

I don't see it listed above: Centon 512MB PC2100 SO-DIMM (laptop) for $99 - $20MIR = $79. Ad page 2 top right, doesn't appear to be online though, so maybe B&M only. Chips were marked with a manufacturer logo I have never seen before, can't be a good sign, but that goes with the territory in cheap memory.

but ppl have diff views on it

Not that I would use it, but the monitor does come with built in speakers for those who are just into desktop applications.

I don't know anything about datus quality though. Anyone know about them?

AFAIK...they are just a budget line that microcenter gets ALL their monitors from...lol...they have so few monitors from other companies.

People were asking about the Gigafast router:

I have had the EE400-RP (Router w/4 port switch + print server) for over 2 years and it has worked FLAWLESSLY. I have had 2 other (a Belkin and a Siemens) routers with problems; this no-name one has been good and reliable.

It has web configuration, and basic virtual app/dmz/etc. Appearance wise its a slim rectangular metal Blue box. It looks very similar to what the early Netgear routers did, before they switched to the silver plastic ones. It is well ventilated - I think many of the routers with problems drop connections when they overheat.

I recently swithced to a wireless NetGear router - but the GigaFast is soon going back into service when I move a couple of servers into a closet. Definitely worth $7 if its the same box.
