I have and old HP computer that I decided to upgrade. It has some kind of ASUS Mobo and a Pentium 4. I ordered an MSI G33M and an E2160 Dual Core.
I knew this probably would not work, but I tried anyway. I just replaced the mobo and cpu and left everyting else the way it was, hoping it would work. It didn't!
I tried inserting the mobo driver CD and booting from it, but came up with nothing.
I really want to keep all of the info on the HD.
Is this possible, or will I have to erase?
Is there a way I can back up all the info on the HD?
The HD has Windows XP Media Center Edition , and I own a copy of Windows XP.
I aslo have my gaming rig, that has enough space in it's single 250GB HD to back up all the info, if it is possible.
Thanx,
Josh
