Been having some issues with my MOBO (MSI K8N Neo4 nForce4 Ultra) random re-boots, system freezes etc. Probably due to OC but its not a big one. 9x 260 or so. But I need to use Clockgen with automatic speeds on on boot because the Mobo Bios wont take and hold anything above about 240.

So I'm looking for a used MOBO @ 100 or so. Here are some of the ones I've been looking at. let me know what you think.

Asus A8N-SLI Premium
DFI NF4 SLI-DR Expert Motherboard, needs new chipset fan. - $85
ASUS A8N32-SLI DELUXE MOTHERBOARD -- $130 SHIPPED
DFI Sli-DR Expert Socket 939 Board $90

Thanks

Check etech4sale. They still have a decent selection of 939 boards. Don't buy used at those prices.

really I'd used a few 939 boards out there and DFI is right at the top but so is that MSI board (IMO) - you might want to look at getting another one if you're comfortable with it - I wasn't too into DFI as there were TOO MANY bios options but still great boards. You can find them for much less used than your listed prices. 3 months ago I sold my MSI board (same one) with a processor for 85 bucks, so don't wasted extra cash when its not needed.

No doubt, DFI has always been a tweaker's paradise.

But I wouldn't recommend it for a newbie, however...The risk of irreversibly ruining your board is far too great with the multitude of options available. They're also quite quirky when it comes to Power Supplies and memory. (even when used with 'high quality' grade components)

@OP, the DFI nForce 4 mobo is my pick of the lot. Simply the best 939 mobo out there IMO.
@Satyrist, even ASUS mobos are picky about the RAM they accept, so DFI can be forgiven for that.

Asus doesn't manufacture their motherboards out of chipset specs though, DFI appears to do that to the extent that I'd have to say that they're far more sensitive to hardware specs than Asus does.
