New Modem/Router combo MG7540, and a WiFi problem

As the title says I got a new modem/router combo so I can give comcast their modem back. I made the purchase because my old ASUS router is dying.... anyways

Old router ~175mbps on Speedtest, new one 20-30mbps (Wifi)

Plugged in I get ~182mbps so I know its the router half not the modem half thats not working too well. I tried messing around with the settings to no avail. Any clues. Tried both 2.4 and 5ghz to both disappointing speeds. I live in a house so theres not too much traffic with others.

Anyways, I have to go change a poopy diaper. Thanks for any help.

According to your modem/router manual, turning off Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) or Power Save support probably will help.

If that doesn't help, call Comcast and check if they accidentally put you on wrong subscription speed after you return the modem.

WMM is unable to be disabled and I've already disabled power saver. Bleh
