I got a new BenQ FP767 monitor for Christmas last week. The problems started almost immediately. On the first boot up with the new monitor I got a "No Signal" message. On the second try I actually got a picture with it and it worked for a about 5 mins until it went blank and gave the "No Signal" message again. For a few more consecutive tries the same happened (either no picture at all or it worked for a few minutes, then went blank). Sometimes my comp would crash instead of the monitor going blank and Windows XP would blame the crash on my Sapphire Radeon 9000 pro. The monitor started staying on longer once I had the drivers installed and by the next day the problems had magically disappeared. Until now that is...Today I recieved some more RAM to upgrade with, and after doing so and firing up my comp--no sign of life from my monitor and no matter how many times I tried it would not give me a picture. I put my old memory back in thinking that the problem might be that the memory I got was bad, but I still got nothing. I thought the problem could be my graphics card, so I tried the card from my Dad's comp. Nothing. I tried the monitor on my sister's comp and viola! on the first try it works! So why question to you guys is: What the hell is making it not work on my comp?
