Ok, I got my new Philips 109B20 "Real Flat" last night and love it. I am, however, having one issue.
I'm currently running the monitor at a refresh rate of 60hz at 1280x1024. It seems fine to me, but that may be because I haven't drunk the kool-aid yet and haven't seen a monitor at 85hz. When I try to bump it up to 85 hz it seems that the text gets slightly fuzzier. Philips recommends the following as "Optimal"

Even when I do that setting the text seems a little fuzzy. I am running a GF3 Ti200 card and somebody last night stated that there are some issues w/ Nvidia cards and fuzzy text. However in all the posts I've seen I haven't seen this mentioned before.
Added to this, I'm a die-hard gamer that loves CounterStrike, Day of Defeat, Tribes and Tribes 2 - but I'm running WinXP.
I'm quite the noobie, so I'd like some help w/ the following questions.
1.) Will the 85hz really be easier on my eyes and improve the display. If yes, what steps can I take to dial it in and get rid of the fuzzy text. Are there any tweaks?
2.) Since I'm running XP I've read that I need to get the Nvidia/XP refresh "Fix" to get the higher refresh rates in my games games. Which software (preferably free and simple (I can at least ask, right) should I use. If not free and simple, which is the best one to get? So far I've seen a fix by Enlight and Powerstrip mentioned the most.
3.) Any other suggestions?
In advance thank you very much. I wish I wasn't such a noob, but in time I hope to fix that.
