New Monster Energy Drink flavor

I saw them for the first time last night and decided to grab one to help with writing my term paper. I thought it may be good since I have previously enjoyed the Coffee and Chai Tea flavors since they gave me a boost and didn't make me jittery or sick feeling like some other energy drinks had. Plus they actually taste pretty damn good.

Took a drink, decided that the flavor was good, but a bit bland and that I'd likely stick to the chai tea. Finished the can over a 15 minute period.

15 minutes later my hands are shaking uncontrollably.
Within the next 15 minutes I began to sweat, puke, and shake all over.
2 hours later I'm lying in bed freezing my ass off in cold sweats attempting to sleep.
3.5 hours later I finally pass out

Didn't get to write a single damn word of my paper after the first minutes of drinking it.

Damn.

Flavor wise it was ok. Like I said, I wouldn't have a problem drinking it but it wouldn't be my first choice.

I had no idea they had a chai flavor. I've never seen it around here.

I procrastinate on forums and such, not make myself physically sick.

Energy drinks do nothing to me except give me energy. But I drink them rarely and always on full sleep and a full stomache, and otherwise generally healthy conditions.

They don't even give me energy. I must be immune or something heh. Typically within 20 minutes of drinking one hoping to stay awake, I'm fast asleep like a little baby.

I was good on sleep and had eaten within the hour before that.

I'm glad I was eating lunch while I read this post.

Anyway Monster drinks are the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. I had 2 sips of a free sample and threw it away.

I can't abide the standard flavors, but the coffee ones are alright.

Damn u really cant take energy drinks huh . I've had 5 16 oz monsters over the course of about 4 hrs and then the next night I had red bulls at a kick back at the desert. Both times i was not affected by the monsters or red bulls. Same goes with medicine, I become immune to pretty much everything ive taken and need bigger doses the next time around.

I agree. Most of the fruit ones taste like cough syrup IMO and I can't imagine the other flavors being that much better.
