New motherboard ASRock?

So I was poking around for some upgrades that should take place by summer, and was looking at the ASRock manufacturer. I'm unfamiliar with their motherboards but they seem to be highly regarded. I was looking at the z77 extreme6, can anyone else attest to the quality of that board (terms of cooling, overclockability, power phases, ect)

Asrock has good bang for the buck.

I see no issues cranking a 3770k up on that board. You'll be temp limited by the 3770k long before the motherboard.

may i suggest a board with all solid-state caps... more of the norm nowadays anyway but may allow for a more stable experience.

ASRock used to be a subsidiary of ASUS as a budget hardware branch, then they spun off into a separate holding corp and have since become a respectable company in their own right. Built an ASRock A55 FM2-based computer for my parents last year, arguably one of the most stable computers I've ever made. In spite of the fact that it's running Vista.

I don't think you can go wrong with them. I've got 3 rigs running asrock mobos and I just got another one on it's way for my server. My biostar was giving me fits recently.
