Currently I have a KBC Force RR full face helmet. I like it, although it seems a bit noisy (but maybe I suck at putting ear plugs in). Lately I've been doing a lot more riding so I've been trying to track down tinted visors. Just my luck - no one seems to carry KBC anymore. Every place I look is on closeout and minimal stock.

So I ordered a tinted pinlock visor add-on, which is supposed to reduce fogging. I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. Until I realized that the stock KBC visor is not pinlock compatible, and I can't find any that are, so back my pinlock visor went

So now, I just bought a Gmax GM68 full face helmet from Revzilla.com. I've visited their store before and was fitted for a GM68, so I know the helmet fits. As a bonus, it comes with both clear and tinted visors. Some people say it's noisy due to the number of vents, other people say it's just fine. I'll find out in a few days!

What kind of helmets is everyone else rocking?

In thirty years of riding, I've never bought a helmet without trying it on but that's just me. I've never thought any full face helmet was too noisy but then, I don't mind hearing the fans on my computer either. I wear a Bell.

My next helmet will be an HJC with dual visors. I hate wearing sunglasses with a helmet, and I hate changing visors even more.

I actually have tried it on.... well, a version of the helmet anyway (at the time it was the GM68 Crusader. This is the GM68 Gmax)

I wear a Shark RSR2. It's my second after I trashed the first in a crash. It held up well and I liked them so went ahead and got another. My next helmet will probably be an Nolan Stoner replica.

I'm a sucker for the higher-end less popular brands like Shark and Nolan.

Why not wear sunglasses/prescription sunglasses? Can you get those visors in polarized?

Sunglasses get uncomfortable after several hours with a helmet on. The helmet puts pressure on them and they dig into the sides of my head.
I haven't checked to see if polarized visors are available, I hope they are.

Is that GMax the one with the LED's in the back? I almost bought that earlier this summer but was got hung up on some of the reviews that said it's noisy. Actually, just reread the WebBikeWorld review and now I don't remember why I decided not to get it. Sounds like a nice lid.
Anyway, I'm currently rockin' a flat black Scorpion EXO-400. I LOVE the visor. I have not been able to fog it up for the life of me, even in rainy 60 degree weather. Of course now that the season's ending, I've been seeing some killer deals on the EXO-700 too. But I'm still very happy with mine. I've got a big round head (wear an XXL) and the first helmet I bought, and AGV, was too narrow and pinched my ears.

Arai Vector. I absolutely love it. In 4-5 years when it's time to replace it, I'll definitely be getting another Arai. The thing is ridiculously comfortable for me.

Currently a Scorpion EVO-700 Hi-Viz and a BMW System V. The Scorpion is really a fantastic helmet, much nicer than the Shoei RF-1000 it replaced (which replaced an RF-800, which replaced an RF-200.) It is much quieter, lighter, and has much better venting and anti-fog than the RF-1000 - plus it is less than half the price of the RF-1100 I was going to buy. The outstanding review on WebBikeWorld sealed it for me. I use it for long distance touring, the BMW flip-face is a bit louder so I mainly use that for weekend rides.

SYS-Max II HJC modular here....

Only real downside to the modular is the increased wind noise due to the hinge/joint. Love having the modular though.

Shoei RF-1100. Only helmet I've found more comfortable is the x-12. Prefer the quietness though.

Arrfep: scorpion implements an anti-fog system on the inside of their shields. Works great.

Teddy do you mean the EXO-700? It's a far heavier helmet than the rf-1000. Rf-1000 is around 2.8 pounds and the exo-700 is about a pound heavier. Compared with my rf-1100 at about 3.2.

Yep, I meant the RF-1100 (and the EXO LoL).

Your weights seem to be a bit off though - according to WebBikeWorld's own tests:
http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-helmets/motorcycle-helmet-weights.htm

they weigh in as:
RF-1000: 3lbs 8 3/4oz
Scorpion EXO-700: 3lbs 13oz (4.24oz heavier)
RF-1100: 3lbs 13 5/8oz

I really like the RF-1000 and it is still on tap for occasional rides but I did not care for all the changes with the RF-1100 (especially the chin bar changes.)

Interesting because in both specifications for the books that's what they claim.
I'm going off fab sheets and technical specs from vendors and manufactures book for retailers. Not sure if they're 100% accurate however.

I do know that the RF-1000 is considerably lighter in-hand compared to the EXO-700 as well as on my head. The 1100 isn't near as light but still has a distinct weight advantage from what I could tell.

Surprised you don't like the stuff they did with the 1100. I think it was a necessary thing to do. To each his own though. The Scorpion is probably what I would have gone with had it not been Shoei. Then Arai most likely.
