I was waiting for this mobo for my new system that I am building soon. I order this one today because MSI Delta K7N2-ILSR - looks very feature packed for price of only $135.

bump for the Floopy connector on the mobo (see pic #2)

this looks like one SWEET board, price seems good for such a loaded piece of hardware

ATA onboard RAID. That's nice. That's the only thing I wanted on my EPOX 8RDA+. I guess I will by a raid card when the time comes. Good board though.

No mounting holes for my PAL8045, and capacitors too close to CPU socket. I'll wait for the new Asus A7N8X that also has the new NF2.

I love MSI also, but I will wait & see reviews of this mobo & see how it performs. I got burned being an early adopter on one of the KT266 boards. Yet again, someone has to try them first, eh? Let us know, it looks nice. Thanks

I guess I am retarded. Why does it have 3 ide connectors? Is it for the raid? Someone please explain.

What does this have that the K7N2-L doesn't. Trying to figure out the ILSR. Is it I=firewire (ieee1394) L=lan SR=Serial ATA Raid? I ask because my local retailer has the K7N2-L for $92.

sorry to rain on your parade, but i actaully HATE how the IDE connectors are located. i have a board that has the same layout (a soltek KT333 tho), and the standard cheapo gray ribbons that comes with HD are NOT long enough in a big case (antec SX830), next time i would consider this a factor when i choose a mobo. (see A7N8X has connectors on the side)

this is not a very good overclocker motherboard. it does not have 3-phase MOSFETs like higher quality Abit, Epox and Asus motherboards, only 2-phase. so expect it to crap out early. also, it is way way too expensive. but to each his own--if red PCB is worth that much to you, then have at it.

Take the link to the manufacturer's web site, there's a link at newegg, they explain there too. The above 2 posts are correct.
