New NFL celebration rules

I guess they came out in May or something but I just recently heard about them. No overly sexual or violent depictions are allowed. Apparently that includes the throat cutting and even the bow and arrow pose. While I'm not a huge fan of the growing trend of little moves after every tackle or first down, clamping down on something like a bow and arrow pose seems like we're headed off in the wrong direction

Why does NFL have to be the shit stain with stupid celebrations all the time? Can't people hold themselves to higher standards anymore instead of trying to mock people at every slight play that you didn't suck?

I can understand a "Yay" after a touchdown, but first downs and QB sacks? That's just pathetic knowing the very next play could still be a TD for the opposite team.

How often will the D-line get to celebrate a TD? Though I do agree, there's no need to get too worked up with the celebration. Just a fist pump or flex should be enough.

they should make a rule where if your team is getting blown out and you sack the backup quarterback in a game you're not going to win and you celebrate and tear your acl, you should be banned for life.

Yep or the celebrations for tackling a guy after he runs for 15 yards and you're losing by 21.

Taunting shouldn't be banned in the NFL. It should be an example of freedom of speech. Speech isn't illegal, but assault as a result of it is.

The first amendment protects free speech from government censorship but your employer or host is free to set restrictions. If you're trash talking about the flight attendants they're free to kick you off of the airplane.

In the NFL it's much harder to score and therefore more of an accomplishment.
