It is the ethernet driver? Crap I was wondering what was causing all of my BSODs It always happened when I was downloading stuff so I guess it makes sense. I thought the IDE corrupted my data again so I was about to do a format reinstall. Thanks for saving me some work.

Thanks GD. Someone on the OC Forums determined that "Optimal" for the A8N was 32K. He also found that the best all around performance came from a 16K stripe. He also determined that RAID was not faster than a non RAID. I may reinstall using a 16K stripe just because. Even though my games will not load faster it just "feels" faster.

Back on topic...

I installed the UDP's the same way Megatomic did. No problems whatsoever. Also using the latest beta bios 1004_001. Also stable now at 250 x 11!

I have a pair of 74GB Raptors, using 128 striping and 6.39 drivers and I am only getting 57MB/s in sandra, any idea what I am doing wrong? Did you guys install the 6.39 IDE drivers?

I just installed them (didn't uninstall anything first) on my Maxtor Diamond Max 200GB drives last night, set up in a stripe array. I did not install the nVidia IDE driver or the network drivers. NCQ was still disabled after install. Enabled it through device manager, have had no issues so far. Still running with 1002 BIOS, since I had the disappearing drives with other versions.

Have had no sound issues, but haven't really checked that yet. I did notice I got a new nVidia mixer. I'll make sure my sound is ok later. I also have a Plextor 716A burner, which someone reported they ahd troubles with. Haven't burnt anything with it yet, I'll have to give it a try.

I thought that SATA2 and NCQ were only on the Ultra/SLI chips. Does NCQ also work on the plain NF4s?

My Maxline-III arrives any day. I hade OC problems with BIOS'es earlier than 1003, (error message at every post). So I guess I'll have to go with the 1004 beta. I don't like using beta BIOSes, but hopefully the final version comes soon.

Yes, they have the SATAII ports. At least the MSI NEO4 platinum does.

Somehow I don't think Sandra is measuring our Raptors right. Do the test when you go into device manager and select your NVIDIA nForce4 ADMA Controller and run the speed test.

Confirmed. The latest Ethernet drivers have caused me BSODs on my VNF4/Ultra after installation. The BSODs would occur pretty much as soon as anything tried to access the internet.

Too bad there isn't an E-mail address or Feedback page to be found ANYWHERE on nVidia's web page. WTF is up with THAT?

Apparently they don't like to get bug reports, suggestions, or other feedback from their customers, unless it's by phone or snail mail. :|
