I think the new drivers aren't working right. My text in my AIM windows are outlined in different colors and blurry. Also when text gets too small it has a hazy red outline on some letters. Is anyone else seeing this??

Which AIM client are you using. GAIM I know has had problems in the past with the GTK interface corrupting the text.

this is not as bas as nforce drivers for vista.. I dare you to find anything useful for nfroce3 and 4 on drivers page.
You shouldn't need Nforce Drivers for Vista from what I have read. But you do bring up a good point- I wonder why we don't see new Nforce drivers yet.
(Does anyone know, just for reference, if AMD has released drivers for their Express chipsets under Vista?)

Why is nVidia limping with good drivers lately? Didn't they use to provide some of the best drivers for their hardware?
Oh LOL, I see, he was asking for a copy rather than for his drivers to be fixed. :thumbsup:however it does solve tuteja1986's problem of finding a copy of Red Faction ...
mine is flying to a new home in Australia on Monday
They need to stop hiring AEG agents and hire more driver programmers. Why is nVidia limping with good drivers lately? Didn't they use to provide some of the best drivers for their hardware?
No they didn't, not even close. The 7900 GTX drivers are my current gold standard because they only have one or two issues I can think of.Even drivers before that one had bugs similar to all of those.

I'll say. I just read the realease notes and wow- that's a lot of issues/non-working features. Blah.
I dunno...DX10 drivers on a new OS for a radically new product...it's a tall order. Give them time.Originally posted by: BroadbandGamer

Yeah, I think NVIDIA needs to do some more hiring or something. This is getting ridiculous.
The 8800 was in development for 4 years and they had more then enough time to have good solid stable drivers ready for Vista. Hell, their 8800 XP drivers suck so I don't have much faith in them fixing these anytime soon.
