I swear, as soon as I hit apply the bottom inch of my screen disappears and digital vibrance gets cranked up. I didn't even change anything except to use the settings I want, but before I can even make changes it does this crap. It did it with the first 9X's that came out as well. Something in this series hates my Westy 37".
strange...i have no issues whatsoever wth a 42" Sceptre 1920x1080p setup..did you try going back to the old interface and tweaking it from thee?
thats my next step!

should fix the SLI pop up message on every reboot with these drivers,I can confirm Coolbits work with these drivers if you use it with the standard classic CP,not tried it with the new CP since I hate it.
Update: No SLI pop up message now which is great and games work fine even with non SLI boards like mine, however I still get the same stupid Nvidia tray icon load up on every reboot ,even when I have it disabled in CP,only fix for that is to deselect it again in control panel after each reboot, guess I can live with that until it is fixed.

I think PureVideo should be absolutely free, and I think that the current state of Mpeg2/H.264/etc. acceleration is a freaking joke. Nvidia needs to understand that H.264 is the future of video and that the fact that only highend systems can run 1080p is unacceptable at this point.
I think the main problem at this point is the lack of standardization in terms of the H.264 codec. Right now you have to download a specific Nvidia driver paired with a specific version of Nero Showtime/Cyberlink PowerDVD. I think in time when the public starts using H.264 more and more, we will see such things.

it's not free because they have to pay licensing for it.
Thanks for the link Mem, I've been wanting this fix. :thumbsup:Originally posted by: Mem

Error stating that SLI Multi-GPU rendering is disabled every time the system is booted on a NON SLI capable computer with reference driver 91.31.
This notification error will be removed in future reference driver releases.

I think Nvidia are getting very lazy with their drivers.

I mean why could they not fix it before releasing official drivers?

You are taking this way too seriously.
I quoted you correctly didn't I? I didn't come here to troll, I came here to ask you who redbox / (there you go) josh is? "You then called me Mr. Thick as a brick" after assuming I had missed the "/" in between them all while not actually answering the question. Meanwhile, you are telling skooma to not use the new control panel, then telling her that she better get use to it. Afterwards, you make a class act name "fuckwit" towards me for reflecting your statements. Sorry if I offended you but those statements were confusing me, that's all. Take a chill pill.

Edited--Because I misread your question.
Weird that NVIDIA's site doesn't take you to the most current driver. I'm at my computer at work right now and I easily got to the updated driver using Firefox by starting here.

Go attend an english comprehension class josh. you and redbox both commented how you thought purevideo should be free that's why your names are there. The "/" is is seperator which any high school student could happily tell you.
As for my comments about "if you don't like the new nvidia control panel don't use it", perhaps you could try reading the original post and the preceding posts made by bfg10k and skooma (and no, you don't have to quote someone in order to reply to them on a forum before you ask).
Now, get off the forums, and back into your kindergarten class before the teacher misses you...

There are still some pages missing from the old CP that need put into the new CP, but once they get that done I hope they remove the old CP.
The more I use it, the more clunky the old CP seems to be. The 91.31 set itself is a great driver release and has def made my 7900GTX run better.

But eVGA's website provides the 84.56 driver. Should I keep using that or use nVidia's latest driver?
