Very nice! I am however dissapointed that it doesn't support FSAA(setting my drivers to do OpenGL FSAA, 2x2 mode does nothing), since the jaggies and pixel poping are quite evident at 800x600.

Ok, I'm worried.

I have a Athlon T-bird 1GHz, Radeon 64MB DDR @ 183/183, 256MB of Crucial Cas2 RAM, SB Live!, blah blah blah, on WinME and I got an average of 26fps on the advanced settings @ 1024X768X32. Uh...I'm assuming that's pretty low for my setup. Any ideas why? I'm using 7089 drivers. Could it be that Norton Systemworks 2001 is running in the background?

u might want to download the RadeonTweaker, to enable MANY other features that are turned off, such as T&L engine for OpenGL.
you can download it at here

The reason why Radeon will not score as good as GTS is because they don't have nv_vertex_array_range extension equivalent.
ATI promised while ago they will introduce it (no, it's not nVIDIA proprietary), but that have yet to happen as far as I know
Also, cubemapping is disabled on Radeon (driver issue). There is pattern here...

Don't consider this a Radeon bash, it's just really sad that ATI driver guys cannot take advantage of great hardware.

I do have Radeon Tweaker and Leon's reply explains it good enough for me. Just gotta keep waiting for better drivers I guess.

1.1 tbird, 512 cas2, Annihilator 2 Ultra with Det 3, and win98se I got a reasonable 56fps average. Not bad, not bad at all

edit: 1024 32 bit

Digit-Life wrote an excellent article on the benchmark, comparing Radeon/GeForceGTS and GeForce 3.

25.6 fps

classic athlon 700@793, 128mb pc100 cas2, geforce SDR 32mb @155/210 (6.50 det.)

usually i dn't get artifacts running my core @ 160, however, this benchmarks showed artifacting at the beginning of the demo...odd..anyway, i reduced my core to 155 w/ no artifacts whatsoever...

i ran it in win2k (tho i installed it in win98se), and it seemed to run faster (visually) than in win98se...i didn't even wait for it to finish in win98se...seemed way slower than win2k...odd

oops...that's 1024x768 32-bit, advanced features

that's right buddy...u have the saem vid card as me, and it crashed mine too, until i read the readme.doc file and checked the troubleshooting area..

it has an issue w/ geforce sdr cards w/ 'use vertex array range' enabled...
uncheck that box, and then run it w/ any settings and it shoudl work fine

buddy.

haha...buddy!

Duron 950
Abit KT7A-RAID, 256MB PC133 CAS2 Crucial
Asus V7700 64MB GeForce2, 200/400

The first time I went through I got 12.6 FPS and I was like WTF and was feeling inadequate Turns out I had OpenGL FSAA at 2x2 LOD (those are the settings I use for Tribes).

Second time through I got 36 FPS avg

What a horrible tacky demo/benchmark
Ran it at 800x600 just to watch it - got 45.1fps with MX2/Duron 900
Maybe you should try this before using 3Dmark
Otherwise it's a bit disappointing to look at.
