New Overclocker

Hi, I just got an Athlon XP 1600+ and I was hoping that I can overclock it from 1400 to 1600. What should I change the Voltage to, and What Voltage do I change? When does overvolting and overclocking begin to Fry my PC? How Do I test to see if it is stable? Right now it is running at 1400 at 33C Case and 40C in Windows typing this message. It has never gone above 42C in any game or major program and I am using a TI-V77 Dr. Thermal CPU Cooler with the Heat pad on and some thermal compound that came with my fan. I have A SY-K7V Dragon Plus motherboard, a Voodoo 2 Banshee a 40 Gig Seagate ST430823A Hard drive and a Creative CDRW 4224. Something is strange is happening in My BIOS. My page up and Page down are backwards, and when I up the FSB to 140 (10.5X140 My CPU registers as an Athlon 1700 - all the way up to 1900 and at 2000 It works but my Video card gives. When I boot to a dos disk it is so unstable it crashes. I think it needs a volt mod but I don't know what to do.)

Is that a PCI video card? If so, you might wanna get a new AGP one, also considering that voodoo 2 was only good when I was in 5th grade and playing Quake. Also, if you can't change your voltage through your motherboard, you can try using the bridges on the cpu. search for articles on athlon xp with voltages.
