What are you using the computer for? For gaming a Q6600 isn't going to be most cost-effective processor, as 2-3 cores will be sitting idle most of the time. (On the other hand, if you like to have anti-virus, folding@home or something else running full-bore in the background, quad-core might be worth it.)

There are also newer quad-core chips built on a smaller 45nm process (the Q6600 is 65nm) that you might want to look into. That would be the Q9xxx series.

As far as the motherboard, don't bother with an Nvidia chipset unless you intend to run two graphics cards in SLI. If that's not part of your plan, then just pick up a motherboard based on a reliable Intel chipset like P35.

I'd probably get the Gigabyte DS3L, a lower rated PSU.

Though we don't know your needs as you haven't supplied much info.
