Is there any way I can do something to my phone so that when someone calls after a certain time, the phones don't ring ? WHEN i sneak out, I don't want calls to wake up my parents. Is there a way to block calls after a certain time, or forward calls. but Doesn't forwarding calls cost money ? I'd short circuit the phone lines, and make the my lines busy, but is that unsafe or does that mess up the lines at all ? I don't want to do that, because when my parents pick up the line, it will be dead. Is there any solutions to this problem?

unplugging the phones is hard or turning the ringers off is hard because its in there room. and i kinda dont want to sneak in there room and take it off because its right next to their bed.

i hate to break it to you, but this has the potential for some very bad situations occuring. for example, if there some sort of family emergency, or whatever, how would your parents be reached? what if you get in some sort of trouble and need their help? there are thousand things that could go wrong with this plan.

When u use call forwarding for your house lines, does it show what time that you enabled it and how much does it cost ? what shows up on the BILL when you use it ?

damn that's early. i've only "snuck" out once, it was at 5 in the morning. i say "snuck" because i'm not sure whether my parents would have said yes or no.

i still say this is a bad idea. maybe you should just sneak out later, when nobody would call anyways.

well i mean i guess it depends on what time your parents go to bed. Some parents and houses go to bed earlier. My parents hardly ever check up on me after they go to bed, which is about 9. The only time they would come check up on me is if they are suspicious or someone calls for me.
