Maybe Android Wear? I notice my N5 doesn't plateau. The drain is pretty bad with Android Wear and Play Services nlpcollectorwakelock. As mentioned in the comments there, something isn't quite right with his device. If you look at the battery stats, it never once plateau's like you would expect when it goes to idle.
Battery is still kinda small though, I'm guessing it was for cost reasons.
Did say he was using his 360 pretty regularly with it, so that might be part of it.Maybe Android Wear? I notice my N5 doesn't plateau. The drain is pretty bad with Android Wear and Play Services nlpcollectorwakelock.

Wow...the battery life on that thing is horrid.Kellex of Droid Life reports the battery life is less than stellar on the X 2014.

I don't know what Moto was thinking with the X 2014 . . . even HTC managed to cram in a 2600mah battery into the m8.
Yeah, I hadn't seen that it was stamina mode (and heh, the reddit mods correctly labeled it "Misleading" ).Z3 with Stamina Mode, 8 hours of SOT and 20% left on the charge.

From what I heard, having a 360 connected actually reduces significantly the battery drain on your phone.
Which phone? The Android Central 360 piece made me wonder whether the wildly varying battery life reports had to do with Moto's nonstandard bluetooth stack not playing nice with non-Moto devices and draining juice from the disconnection bug. From my experience with the 360, it made my phone last longer because thanks to the watch handling most notifications, the amount of times I'd take my phone out of my pocket and turn it on went down. So it helped the phone's battery life in that it decreased the amount of time spent using the phone.

And... poor battery life on the 2014 X confirmed.

"With the new antenna, depending upon where you hold the Moto X, the signal will change to the most advantageous place on the remaining antenna it is said to increase the signal strength by up to 500 times! "
LoL is this guy serious about this?

IMO only the Z3c and Note 4 are worthwhile upgrades for a 2013 owner. In between was just compromised everywhere.Perhaps I should strike the Moto X from my list and promote the m8 back up against the Z3.

Those Basemark tests are just said. I haven't seen a phone that bad since my T-bolt and Verizon GNex. Perhaps I should strike the Moto X from my list and promote the m8 back up against the Z3.
Wait, the Z3 has a 32GB model? I thought it was 16GB only.
Hoes the Xperia UI?
Is it actually available on any carrier at a store?
