New Phone Number

I?m moving to a new city in the Fall for school and would like to get new cell phone with that city?s area code. Is it even possible to do that without having an address there first?

My contract with the current carrier will expire before I move and I want to get new service and number (too many people know my number that I don?t want them to know).

You don't need a local address to get service. As long as you have a valid address, you should be fine.

just call and change your address to your schools' address. Make sure you get paperless billing, though.
