New Pokemon 3ds XL available

It is available for preorder at gamestop. Site is getting slammed. Had to checkout around 6 or 7 times for it to actually go through. Shipping was only 7 bucks.

That is what happened to me. Even when I would click complete my purchase it would delete. Just keep plugging away and it will finally work. did not have a single problem ordering wii u windwaker bundle. This 3ds xl must be crazy popular.

Everything Pokemon is crazy popular. It is the best selling gaming series of all time I believe. I knew these were going to be popular when I first heard the announcement. They don't look half bad either.

Finally got one of each. Seeing reports of people getting cancellation emails though; I remain hopeful.

My multiples got canceled but the ones I ordered individually for myself are ok. If you ordered more than one of each try again.

Yeah looks like multiples are being cancelled. I ordered 1 blue 2 red by mistake 1 red the figured hell 2 more blue. Only the two orders for two where cherry picked and canceled. The others remain.

On one hand I'm glad they are cutting out scalpers squatters and resellers and making it fair, but its amusing that it happens the first time in my life I ordered extras of something.

Based on phone number at the store. The website is not kept in the same system. When you do a "web reserve" where you reserve a title to pickup at the store, they have to look at a different section to find it.

So it's likely you can just reserve it at the store under a different phone number.

I think recently, in the past 10 years or so Pokemon has sold more total merchandise though. They have everything from Manga and Anime to stuffed animals, trading cards, themed candy etc.

The Mario franchise includes all games that aren't real Mario games as well. I am pretty sure they count things like Donkey Kong and Yoshi's Island. The Super Mario Brothers franchise is at like 260 million.

At least I know what to expect now. I WILL be prepared to have 3 minimum Zelda 3DS XLs if there is one if I have to use multiple accounts. One to keep sealed in my collection, one to open and use as my primary DS platform, and one to pay for the other two after they are sold out.

I'm still pissed I missed the OoT black 3DS, I wasnt paying attention to modern releases at the time and now they are $500. I WILL make up for it.

Reselling consoles is nothing compared to the sneaker game. Every Holiday season sees a new Jordan 11 release and Nike releases limited quantities of shoes every month. You either get up early, have a hook up, or pay a huge markup on eBay (plus have to deal with fakes that are getting harder and harder to spot).

There is no preorders either. They release at 8AM EST and sell out in minutes. They cater to resellers it seems.

Good thing I only buy real shoes like Asics running shoes and not the shoe equivalent of "rolling on 22s"

Ugh. That shoe thing if I cared would be enough for me to open up a retail store JUST to order direct from the manufacturer and have first dibs on everything and bypass the re sellers because that's just the kind of shit I do. Why? Because FU that's why.
