New Power Supply

I'm looking for a new power supply to replace my OCZ 600W SLI. I love my PSU, it runs rock stable even when I scrutinize it with a multimeter. The fan is pretty loud and the wires are ugly.

Stable
It has to be very stable. I'll be overclocking a bunch and I'd like to minimize ripples.

Quiet
Possibly a fanless design? Maybe a water cooled unit? Not sure...

Powerful
Has to power an overclocked Q6600, high end graphics card and a DDC water pump.

Modular
To reduce cable clutter. I'd like something shiny metallic or black.

I've got a Corsair HX 620 and it performs like a champ! The modular cabling is GREAT! Since you already have a 600, I wouldn't go any smaller...

I've always been happy with Enermax. Look to the Enermax Liberty if you want modular. I have a 495W NoiseTaker at the moment and it's very quiet, not modular tho.

A quick word on the Enermax vs. Corsair question. They are both excellent PSUs but there are differences in the modular cables... I have both an Enermax 620 and a Corsair 620, and let me tell you, the cables on the Corsair are superior to the Enermax. I actually called Enermax and complained about the 620 cable set and they sent me a replacement set (from the 720) at no charge, at that time. The 720 cables are much better. Tell you why, the Enermax 620 cables have 2 SATA connectors on almost every cable, and they are not necessary. They get in the way and almost destroy the modular cleanliness you get with individual cabling.

Your choice. But if you go with Enermax, I'd suggest the 720.
