Not going to happen. My Great Pyrenees is borderline retarded and he is still around. Seriously, he's the dumbest thing on four legs I have ever seen. But I love the big bastard.

Just about any rescue dog over a year of age is gonna have issues.

Something you pay for from a good breeder comes with a clean slate. We have a GSD we raised from 8 weeks old, and we have one that we rescued.

The rescue is a great dog, but we cant let her around strange men because she will bite without warning. Probably wasn't socialized well as a puppy.

Theres a reason why most dogs are in the shelter. The owners are to blame for not raising them properly, but the dogs are the ones to end up with long lasting problems.

When you look at the overall cost of raising a dog through its lifetime, the $1000 or whatever you pay for a good dog is pretty minuscule.

I have adopted dogs before and currently have two cats from the shelter. In this particular case my wife has wanted on for a long time, so we got one.

A pet is never a good "deal." Even if someone paid you $50 to take it, it's still not a deal.

Also, you need to learn how to use your EVO. It has an 8MP camera but it looks like a 2 year old snapped those pictures.
