I wonder if I can install these? ATI's setup program was refusing to work on the 6059 (or whatever it is), and I couldn't install them manually either. Weird.

I'm about to install a new motherboard and switch out my Radeon 32MB for the AIW Radeon so we'll see what happens with these new drivers. Thanks for the heads-up.

Dropped all my benchmarks. Q3, Villagemark and 3DMark.

to me q3 seems to be smoother, but i am not using specific bench scores to compare so i am being totally subjective. another thing i noticed was Nox had some flickering issue, which was pretty bad in fact. heh, i dont even play that game, just being an anal freak

ok, shimmering problem is still there... wait, wasnt that supposed to be fixed via bios update? where is the new bios! actually, shimmering is just as noticable as those two damper lines for the AG tube, ie cant tell unless you stare at a page with the white background (and why would you do that so often anyway?)

The fix for the "shimmering" is in the official build
of Win NT, Win2K and Win98. The "leaked" 7020
drivers here are not from on ATI's official web site
and probably do not have fix.

Could someone here with the these drivers search
the registry using "regedit"
for a using the string "slower".
Tell me what you see.

while messing with the regedit, i stumbled upon this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\(CurrentControlSet\)Services\Display\(0004\)ATI WDM Configurations\Frequency Table\Reference Clock="532E"
is anyone daring enuff to fool around with this? maybe there is a chance to overclock your radeon without using pstrip before those rageunderground guys finally make a utility for that.

damn, all my directdraw games (nox, diablo2, NeoRage) are all having some serious flickering issues... anyone tried running directdraw games with the new drivers?

W2k Drivers al also on its way, TwisteR uploaded them to Zoiah's ftp.
The last time i checked Zoiah did not have them on his page and he didnt reply my e-mail so i guess he is at school or sick or something because he is always very quick in reacting to my mails. (he is also dutch en I contacted TwisteR and Zoiah )
