New ram advice

My Corsair XMS PC-3200C2 512MB crapped out, I get nothing but errors in memtest, and everything I download gets corrupted. Anyways I need some new ram, I was thinking of doing DCRam but I dont have a DCRam mobo would it still work (I plan to upgrade to it later). If so what is the best deal I can get performance/price for 1 GIG? Thank you.

I'm trying, to RMA a mod on thier forums has to respond to you on their forum. It's been 3 days and still no luck. Plus I dont know if I can survive without computer for 1 or 2 weeks while they send me a new one.

Go and buy temporary memory at a local store and return it right before the period is over.

AH thats a great idea, even better since Microcenter is right near me. What could be a legitimate excuse for returning ram though?

Or, you could get 256mb for $25-30 from the current deals that are running (check the newspaper or AT hot deals). Abusing the return policy is bad for the rest of us who might actually need it.
Microcenter has a 15% restocking fee.

@#$%& I think I just got screwed! I asked 3 people at Microcenter what is their return policy on ram, all of them told me you can bring it back with in 30 days. Well I just got home and on the back of the receipt it states "Service parts, motherboards and processors may only be EXCHANGED, and only if defective". Does this apply to ram too or only to cpu and mobos?
