Hey Guys, decided to share what?s goin on in my pc life, so here it goes :
Had a machine (still have it, but it?s kinda sold), wanted to build a small system for a long time. So got myself a small black minitower from InWin and stuck MSI-RS480M2 when it JUST came out, was trackin down anything 939 with PCI-E. Comparing to end of last year when mATX 939 with pci-e just came, now it?s a mATX heaven. Was reading bunch on OCing, wanted to start playin around not just in theory. Well my attempts quickly were halted because there were no OC features on this board, so I kinda let it go?till now.
Old hardware: MSI RS480M2/Kingston HyperX 512x2/atixpress200IGP/3000+/120gb+160gb/550 theater chip TV. Nothing special really, plus mx700 combo and VB912B was really nice and very quite. Cyberlink makes having TV a regrettable experience..so no more.
New Hardware: Biostar TForce6100-939/Kingston HyperX 2x512/connect3D x800gto/x2 3800+/Seagate 7200.8 2x250gb (raid 0) in X-Qpack. Also got zalmans vf700 and 7000b both CUs.
Took HyperX out of old rig, finally can use it to some of its potential. Newegg shipped everything, but for the first time part of the shipment did not go out, so they?ll overnight it, I can start building tomorrow?first time Newegg screw up for me since 01, but they fixed it quick. Read up some on OCing, finally will try in practice. Don?t want to push it too far though, I want stable and quite system. With zalmans, seagates and aspire?s 12cm fan it shouldn?t be loud. Will unlock GTO to XT and x2 3800+ will try to get to 2.5. From what I?ve read up, should be pretty easy to get those numbers. And yeah, also got MSI dual network card (802.11g + bluetooth)?gives it little more wireless touch.
