i dont know... they could totally do remakes better then what they were... but they need the right actors and they need to understand WHY people liked the originals.

robocop for example. that movie, when viewed superficially, is terrible. but all of the little nuances are what made it great.

I don't get all the hate here. I think it looks pretty decent.

Maybe throw in a few shades of different metal colors instead of just having it all dark gray would help.

And regarding the open hand....it's just probably the actor not putting on the glove part yet. I'm sure in the movie he won't have his human hand like that.

Reportedly, Arnold Schwarzenegger was originally considered to play the role the first time around, but his size would have made moving in the suit impossible. Schwarzenegger later teamed up with "RoboCop" director Paul Verhoeven for "Total Recall," which also got a recent remake.

wow.. never knew it. total recal without arnold would have sucked, and robocop would have been even better if he did it? weird

but why didnt they just make a bigger suit for arnold? the end result would have looked like a cybord thats twice the size of anyone on screen. it would have been epic!
