Am I the only one who thinks the suit is okay? I think we are used to the jerky motion, less uniform suit design from the 80s, but I think this could be a more futuristic (from our perspective, not the 80s looking forward) and less clunky Robocop. I love the original movie, but I think this new one will be good and I think Joel Kinnaman could pull off Robocop well.

We already have real robotics that move even better than the old Robocop and other OmniCorp robots. You would think a new Robocop would have smaller and more fluid mechanics, closer to human-like. An old school RoboCop suit would seem kind of weird and out of place at this time.

Hmm... its possible that isn't the actual Robocop. It could just be the police officer before he becomes robocop. So people saying it looks more like armor - it might actually be armor. :hmm:

I don't get all the hate here. I think it looks pretty decent.

Maybe throw in a few shades of different metal colors instead of just having it all dark gray would help.

And regarding the open hand....it's just probably the actor not putting on the glove part yet. I'm sure in the movie he won't have his human hand like that.

I agree. Sci-fi should move with the times. Why do a remake if you are just gonna copy everything? The new one looks like a more modern take on a cyborg.
