New System Build -- Suggestions?

Hopefully I'll be able to build this within the month... but it all depends on when we move so I might have to revise later. This is what I'm thinking now, based on some monitor advice from earlier:

My budget is <$2000 though I'd like to keep it around $1500. I'll mainly be using the system for gaming and movies. I have a set of 5.1 speakers I'll be carrying over, and a 128gb SSD that I bought not long ago that I'll be using as well.

Your build looks fine overall, but there are a couple of points for improvement:
- PSU: The Silencer is quite good, but the NZXT HALE82 650W at $42 AR AP beats it out right now in terms of value.
- RAM: 16GB is unnecessary for the tasks you've listed. This 8GB kit of Crucial DDR3 1333 is plenty and only costs $35.
- Mobo: A $200 tweaker board is way overkill for a non-overclocking gaming machine. Check out the $65 ASRock B75M.

More generally speaking, you do not want to couple fairly static components like sound, WiFi, Firewire, Bluetooth, etc. to the motherboard. If you do that, you end up having to buy an expensive motherboard every time you upgrade instead of just bringing them along for the ride.
