Now that the price has finally dropped on the socket 939 processors I'm going to build a new system for myself and I was wondering what your opinions are on the parts I'm getting and what your suggestions are for the parts I'm not too sure about.

My current computer is-
P4 1.6 oc'd to 2.4 (air cooled)
512MB of Corsair memory with low timings (2-2-2-6 perhaps?)
Abit BD7-II, fsb of 150
Radeon 9800
Turtlebeach Santa Cruz
Old samsung 19" monitor I bought for under 300 back in 99

The parts of my new computer that I'm fairly set on are-
Athlon 64 3500+
Gigabyte K8NSNXP-939
evga 6800GT
(Hard drives are already purchased and waiting to be installed, same with cd drives and floppy drive)

The parts I'm not too sure about are-
Koolance Exos w/ appropriate blocks for cpu
19" flat tube CRT
500W or more power supply
Nice case with a sliding motherboard tray
1GB of memory (512MB x 2)
Logitech MX-510

Here's the part where I ask for help and am extremely open to suggestions...

The Logitech mouse I've seen recommended here before but I am partial to my trackball and might just stay with that. Any ideas about the monitor?

For power supplies I was looking at the Antec True550 (which is actually a 500W power supply) or an Enermax; either the Enermax EG651P-VE FM 24P 3-in-1 Whisper 550W ($175) or the Enermax EG701P-VE SFMA Noisetaker 600W (which is only $138). Why is the 600W Enermax cheaper then the 550W? Any suggestions about which power supply I should go with? Noise isn't much of an issue, I want consistent and reliable power.

For cases I was thinking a LianLi case. I'm currently leaning towards the PC-60. I was looking at the PC-62 but I can't see any justification as to why it's more expensive or weighs twice as much except that the PC-60 is shorter. I don't want a riced out computer, is it worth getting an aluminum case? The weight isn't that important as it's not going to be moving around. Any thoughts about the case?

I'm probably going to get the Koolance exos for the cooling system. I've never setup a liquid cooling system before but I do have a respectable amount of experience with overclocking. I was leaning towards this setup as I've seen good reviews of it; it's a ready to go system and it comes with a nonconductive liquid. Is a kit like the Exos a good idea for someone who's a novice in liquid cooling or is this a bad idea waiting to happen? I'd only planned on getting the cpu block, should I get the gpu and MB blocks too?

Memory... This is the part I really need help with. I know I want a gig of memory, and I want quality memory that supports fast timings too. I'm going to be overclocking and I'm not sure what speed will be fast enough or what brand to go with.

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions/advice you can give

Can anyone give me some advice? I'd really like to know what you guys think about the memory, case, and the Koolance exos...

i think an Antec True Power 430 would be sufficient for that setup. That should save you some $$ at least. as far as the watercooling is concerned, i'll leave that to the experts

Here are some powersupplies I like:

http://www.systemcooling.com/cm_real_power_450-01.html

http://www.svc.com/se40sutoacpf.html

I like these because they are efficient (especially the seasonic), have Active PFC (which doesn't matter too much on the consumer level in the US, but is still a nice feature), have a single thermally controlled 120mm fan, and are rated by continuous output and not peak output.

Right now I'm leaning towards the cooler master, but I'm sure next week there will be something else that grabs my attention. Also, I can't find any prices for the coolermaster, so if it is much over $100 then you also have the Antec Neo Power and the OCZ Power Stream to look at.
