Hello all,

Time for me to upgrade my primary PC. Here is what I put together, please give comments. I also have a few questions. Here is some info on what drove my choices. I am pretty noise sensitive and want to get a very quiet PC. Doesn't have to be totally silent but I want to be able to hear myself speak. I plan on doing moderate overclocking and would like to reach a 500Mhz FSB, nothing too extreme but more then modest. I am not doing SLI ATM but its possible down the road.

So overall I don't need anything extreme and I'm going to try to stay at my $1500 budget (don't need a monitor got myself a nice 24" LCD).

* Anyone have any experience with the Lian-Li? How quiet is this case?

** Ditto on this, can this drive two 8800GTSs?

*** Anyone use one of these on a 8800GTS?

If you follow this format, it will be easier for forum members to give you replies. For example, you ask: will this PSU drive 2 8800GTS? I want to go to Egg's spec page and see how many rails/ amps, reviews, prehaps further research. BUt because you have no links, and I am lazy to look for this product via google, I just go to another thread...

I have 3 LLs and using YL fans, my rigs are very quiet.
That LL case you've chosen makes me dizzy from looking upside down. Its rather cramped for my tastes but for some folks IMO it maybe OK.
I would opt for a roomier case if you're planning on 2 8800GTS.

good choices of: cpu, mobo, ram, vga, dvd-rw are good choices.
I am not an expert on other parts, but they look fine.

Consider whether or not that cooling system is worth it. Some people said "does not cool any better than a decent HSF". Well, this is one of the best heatsinks:

The Seasonic is a really nice PS but it's not modular and for this build I want a modular PS.

The GeIL is a bit cheaper but I can not find any reviews on how well it overlocks. With the other ram I'm almost assured to get 500Mhz FSB which is my goal.

I've read various reviews on the 500 and the majority of them have come up more then positive. Even if its equal cooling the fact that in order to get equal cooling with air you normally need a loud fan running near full bore. As stated in my OP I really want to try to keep noise down to a minimum. I have several friends with WC kits and most do a great job keeping noise down.
