well, ok, let's talk about stickers...
Most fans I know are blowing the air over the struts. The side with the struts usually has a sticker of the fan manufacturer (Papst, Y.S. Tech, whatever). If I face this sticker, the air would NOT suck me in. Then a lot of HSF manufacturers like Coolermaster, Taisol, Global Win and so on put their on sticker on the opposing side. If you face this sticker, the air would suck you in. I'm not sure though whether the Delta Black label fans have such a sticker by default (if I understood the text @ Inside Hardware correctly we are talking about such a fan here). The side we can see on
this picture is the side without struts and if I look at the blades, this fan is exhausting air over the struts. Because we can't see the struts, that means the struts are directly over the top of the heatsink, I think the fan is blowing air onto the heatsink.
