Underused by me anyway.. I don't even have UT loaded on my machine right now. :Q Sorry, that's probably blasphemy.. I'll reload it tonight after I install my GeForce4(MX440).

EDIT: Okay, I installed the new card and while I know my 3DMark2001 scores are nowhere near "great", going from an 1131 with the old card to a 4288 with this new card is one heck of an improvement!

Tarca, we can make it so that the UT servers only serve those who know it exists... it was like that for some time but the cobwebs got pretty thick and I needed to test out all the latest in anti-cheat protection, so the public at large helped me out on that a bit.

Question: Does the team have a "private" team only game server anymore?

I miss the old days of popping in, and fragging teammates. I go to the public one sometimes, but there are so many PITAs, campers and such that it just isn't fun.

We would pop in IRC, decide to do a teleporter only game, or flak only, etc., then head to UT and have a blast fragging each other. There were many times I was laughing so hard I couldn't shoot or move..... When things would get heated, there was always someone around who would start goofing around (like running around in circles, or feigning in a Instagib match) and remind us it was just a game, and the point was to have fun.

I don't mind supporting the public gameserver, I just wish we still had a private one too.

I really need to get back in gaming and relaxing with my friends.. it's one of the short-term goals I've set for myself.

I have to tell ya though, that what I really looked forward to was when we'd have UT(or other) games against rival Teams like TechIMO or SysOpt or whatever - THAT was a blast, and I'd like to see us do it some more.

It's such a bummer I can't go to ND and frag my friends..

I AM slow, and so's my PC. I've played UT a time or two at thegamebox, and I always seem to end up mid pack. Some of the fast guys I can barely even see run by, let alone get a bead on them. Of course, I don't have a top of the line gaming PC either.

Hmm, maybe that's why I liked the private server, there were others as slow as I am.

Admittedly, I haven't been there in a while, but when I do go online to place games I either use my same name here, the abbreviation "nwm" or a simple "TA Seti" to help advertise the project.

I just loaded up UT again !!!! Played online a few times but now I get my ass kicked (used to be only mechbgon & BK who could do that)..

I could use Ass1 for target practice until I get good again !!
