Not a fan personally, I like the classic feel of VB forums. Please do not make this compulsory.

Yeah I'm not sold on it. The forums list is missing from the left side of the page in the user control panel. I never knew how much I used that until it was gone. Now I realize I can't live without it.

Images are stretched and blurry on a 27" 1440 monitor. Guessing its like this for higher res screens.

I like it.

Would like to see the links in something besides just a bold type.
It seems to be making any photos included in the post look a little distorted, but maybe is due to the formatting change between templates.
Lots of negativity here. You would think that a tech savvy, forward thinking group like this the reviews would be more favorable.

You have no link to Anandtech from the forums.

You would think a tech savvy site like this would do a little more checking before going live.

Agreed.

Edit: It also places my reply above your quote even though I responded below...

^^^

I actually prefer that (replies typically go above replies in my company emails) so above or below should be an option.

will give more feedback later as Im off to work.

It's a theme, not a piece of kit.

Being tech savvy has zero bearing on a subjective aesthetic.

With that said, there area a few things technically not-good about the theme, as has been pointed out.

Fonts are weird, too big and I personally prefer reading black text on white background over grey text on white background.

The navbar takes up way, way too much space on the left side.

Will probably stick with the old theme, it's just a lot better.

Sorry but I don't like this new theme one bit. Font is ugly, too large, everything looks off.

While this current theme is boring and stale it is easy to read and navigate. My only recommendation is keeping the current style and just giving us a dark theme option.

I think the original theme for VB3 is beautiful and always has been

All sites im on that run VB3 I use the default VB3 skin (I can run custom css so if the site doesnt have that skin,I can still use it )

No need to fix what was not broken. I would stick with the original theme.

Always reluctant to provide a timeline, as anytime I do, I end up a dirty no-good liar. The changes/fixes/improvements to the theme are being worked on and tested currently.

As an aside, if there are any theme designers or those good with a hand at vBulletin theming, I'd be open to making the effort to obtain a new, additional theme as a community project.

All we wanted was a dark theme.

An update to the new theme will be pushed live soon. It includes a number of fixes for reported issues (including that pesky image scaling one). Sorry it took so long; let us know what you think of it!
