Agree, go with a 750, w. the 661 you are paying for graphics you're not using anyway because of the 5850. For the mobo, then go with a P55. Maybe this:

GIGABYTE GA-P55-USB3 LGA 1156 Intel P55 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail $139.00 at newegg.

I guess you need a case too I'd also bump up your HD to 1Tb, not a whole lot more money.

i would get the Lancool PC-K62 for $99 @ the egg. i am getting it for my core i7 920/5850 build. it has a nice window and good air flow.

Do you have a DVD drive that you're re-using from another computer?

I would get extra cooling for sure, if only because the stock cooling is a bit tricky to install the first time and is easy to get wrong, plus it will help w. overclocking. I like noctua myself, really any of them, they have a really solid and easy to install base.

Use a Scythe Mugen 2. It's a great heatsink for its price and will handle your overclocking needs perfectly. If overclocking, you should also throw on G.Skill ECO instead of the Kingston. It's a great series of RAM for overclocking (there are reviews sitting out there that show it). Also the the Gigabyte UD2 is a great motherboard if you aren't going to CFX in the future.

As others have noted, the 661 and H55 mobo are not a good value since you're not going to be using the IGP. Actually, the 661 is a bad value altogether.

You can get an i5 750 (quad-core) for the same price ($200). If you don't care about having a quad-core (mistake IMHO, but it's your call), then you can get the i3 530 for $130 and throw the savings into a 5870.

You should just get a decent cheap P55 motherboard. The ASRock P55M Pro and Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 are popular and solid choices.

The memory you picked isn't a good value either. Ripjaws 1600 is the same price and faster. Whatever memory you pick, make sure it is 1.5V max (both your Kingston and the Ripjaws fit that spec).

Oh yeah, and you're probably going to want a case and optical drive.
