Out with the OLD. In with the NEW.
Picked up the CBR600RR yesterday for a pretty good price. Had 2200 miles on it and now has 2600, 400 miles within 48 hours
I need to work on keeping my weight off my wrists. Maybe some traction pads for the tank would be a good idea. The seat is just awful, my ass is sore as hell but I don't care The bike is amazing, I LOVE it. Another thing I'm still getting used to is the feeling that I'm sitting ON the bike rather than IN it. The Kawi felt a little better in that regard due to it being a little longer (I think) and the rider position was a little less perched up. It came down to the 07-08 CBR600RR or the 05-08 ZX6R. The CBR ended up being the better deal for a newer bike, so I went with it.
Only thing on my shopping list right now is a rear stand and some swingarm spools so I can change the oil and clean the chain.
