SuicideLeague is a new and really fun type of fantasy football!

What is a Suicide league you ask? Some people refer it as survivor pool, elimination or knock out. Each week you pick one NFL team to win their game, if that team wins you move on to the next week, but you can not pick that team same team for the rest of the regular season. If that team you picked loses, you are eliminated.

What i really like about SuicideLeague is that it is really simple, does not take very much time, and it's exciting!

SuicideLeague is completely FREE! You are welcome to create and join public and private leagues, and invite all your friends.

EDIT: I set up a league if anyone is interested.

1. Go to http://www.suicideleague.com.
2. Register for a SuicideLeague account, then login.
3. Click "Join Private League" link.
4. Enter the following information:
LeagueID: 32
Password: atot

I don't think this is really new; a friend of mine did it a year or two ago. Except in his league you picked losers. I felt bad because he threw in like $25, and I told him week 1 that minnesota was definately going to lose. He picked them and they won. . .

Seemed pretty fun though - more like gambling than a roto league.

You are right, the concept isn't all that new. We have done similar leagues at my work also. Those for-fun leagues prompted the creation of suicideleague.com. What i meant by new is the fact that you can create your own public and private leagues, or join others...all online and for free.

Thanks waylman for creating a league, others feel free to join his league or create your own.

Last year was a lot of fun. It's makes every weekend really intense.

Spooner - I agree!! Last year we had a league for $20 an entry - it was a lot of fun. Another reason we decided to support multiple leagues, etc.

You can easily create a private league and charge to join. Obviously the money handling would all be on your end becasue we did not want to deal with money on this site. But creating a cash private league is simple - something I plan to do for sure.

The site should be pretty fast. But, we have had a couple problems in the last 3 or 4 days related to the power outage. our server is in NY and has experienced some down-time caused by the power outage. Everything should be good now.
