New video card for this 3 year old 1155 mobo

I've got a gigabyte ga-b75m-d3v motherboard that's 3 years old. UEFI bios. Bios has been upgraded to F10, but that's still 3 years old; newest bios is F13 which is 2 years old. I've got a GTX 650 on their now. Want to upgrade to a GTX 950, but I'm wondering if my board will take it without yet another bios flash, or if even the newest bios would work? Any help is appreciated before I get another card. thanks

It should be fine. Usually bios upgrades are for CPU compatibility and not for Video card compatibility. I have an Asus P8P67 Pro and I have running Radeon 290 CF and I had some issues setting the CF but it is working fine now but I have had no issues at all running a single card. As long as you PSU can handle the card you should be fine

950 price is usually too close to 960 price, making the 960 the better choice.

It'll be fine, but I do agree with the other poster about maybe dropping another $20 and going to the GTX960.
