im looking to get a 7900 gs card. price is an issue so i want the best bang for my buck. id like to get a card that supports hdcp. i have a 2005fpw which i've heard will not support hdcp. so is it pointless to get a vid card with hdcp if my monitor wont accept hdcp? or is it simply about the card's output.
my feeling says that if my monitor doesnt support hdcp then it wont matter if the card does. but i wanted to be sure.
