Never read the comics but this does look cool.

Didn't like 300 though so I`ll have to wait and see how this turns out.

Get the book, I bought it solely based off the trailer. It's GREAT. Trailer looks cool but they show something in there that I really hope isn't real. Hopefully a vision or something.

Wow I read the post and thought "That would be cool if they mad Sandman into a movie".

I doubt they could pull it off. I wasn't aware that Sandman was in novel form. My wife has the comic collection and I read it at least once a year.

Well it did come out as a comic series but has since been published in graphic novel form. We are talking about the same comic right? Neil Gaiman's The Sandman?

lol jk... but ya, that was utterly almost jizztastic. The dialogue was a bit flat, but it does stay quite true to the graphic novel. The music was similar to the one they used in the Comic Con trailer I saw when I was at their panel.

That transition in music from Phillip Glass to Muse was FRIGGIN AWESOME (just like how the smashing pumpkins in the first trailer was oh so badass).

wait which part? The part where times square gets blown?

I donno why they're not having the electric cars and airships like they have in the graphic novel; since that explains how the technology of the owl ship exists in 1985.

I'm reading the graphic novel now (about a third of the way through) and so far I'm pretty impressed. I'm not a comic book fan, but this book has an excellent style and there's more information packed into those frames than I expected. It's interesting that there's only one actual superhero with powers out of all the characters (so far anyway).

I'm pretty pysched for this, especially since there's been zero things to watch in theaters for a few months now.
