seems like it would be since you can't have the new technologies. i'd prefer someone find a game, where those who pay get benefits from not having to waste their time, but not a huge advantage.

Loser - I don't think they have a huge advantage. Also, you can pay for just a month (its like 3-4 bucks, which isn't much considering it keeps their server running) to get what you need built and then cancel it again.

I think a good question is whether you guys want to continue playing as upgraded accounts. We'll be severely limited on a Free account and well... we have virtually no chance at any superiority with just free accounts.

This is like a lot of lameass games out there where you pay and you get a huge advantage. Fortuntaely this isn't that bad. There are some worse games out there where you can pay for an economic advantage (WTF... like get 10 hours of resources for $1).

If you guys are all down I'll put down some money.

I'll pay a month or two when I need additional planets + techs, but for the moment, since I'm nowhere near there yet, I'll keep the account free. As for F37, I'm gonna head in there and setup a base, any place you guys recommend?
