No .iso available, AFAIK.
You need to already be running the January beta version.

Thanks for the heads up. Interesting that this time it didn't notify me in windows update that there was a new build but it installed a couple regular updates, restarted and then showed the Tech Preview install screen upon restart.

Should mention that there is no ISO and that you have to be on the Fast Track updates to get it

it's such a shame that i can't use windows 10 because where i live you only have basic internet with a mobile dongle and no broadband.

You aren't missing much on this one. They seem to be only showing off their upgrade installer. They may have just added screens to the existing one, but it has a progress indicator now.

The new Recycle Bin icon looks like something my 5-year-old would have drawn when she was 3. The start menu and taskbar seem, to me, to have a bit more translucency.

Icons and installed programs carried over well, except for the task bar, which Windows put back to what they wanted it to be. I guess they think people really should want that stupid search bar hogging space at all times.

I updated yesterday from build 9926 through Windows Update and suffered several hard lockups. And since there is no ISO officially offered by Microsoft until it gets to the Slow Ring, I've managed myself to create an ISO from Microsoft ESD and will do a fresh installation later today and give it another go. Hopefully, It'll sort out most of my problems.

This is a fast build alright. It makes me want to go back to the slow builds. I treat these installs like it's my new machine and I go through the same process of restoring of my data. Far too many interface bugs for it to be a daily, but it was NEVER meant to be. I left feedback on such issues and will be waiting for the next 'slow' build. On the other hand, I do like much of what I am experiencing from of Win10. I installed the january build on two PCs. An older laptop eventually decided that I no permissions to much while the one was chugging away fine... that's the one running this newer build now. I'm debating on uninstalling and waiting for the next slow build... if there will be one.
